As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in the continued development of our innovative Laboratory Process Management System and contribute to the global deployment of a future-proof software platform.

What will you do?

As a Senior Software Developer, you will combine technical expertise with leadership. You will work on challenging software projects while helping to elevate the development team to the next level.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions.
Leading technical designs and contributing to product and software architecture.
Developing applications using technologies such as C#, JavaScript, CSS, and Python.
Building and maintaining APIs within modern development frameworks.
Integrating applications with Windows and Microsoft Azure platforms.
Maintaining and enhancing existing software applications.
Solving complex technical challenges and conducting technical research.
Safeguarding the technical direction and quality standards within the development team.
Managing development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and source code repositories using Azure DevOps.
Performing code reviews and promoting best practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Coaching and mentoring junior developers and interns.
Designing database structures and managing data using Microsoft SQL Server and Azure technologies, including both relational and non-relational databases.
Ensuring compliance with security standards and implementing testing procedures to maintain software quality.

Additionally, you possess:

A Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Software Development, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Proven programming skills and extensive experience developing professional software applications.
Solid experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio.
Strong experience with C#/.NET and preferably knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and Python.
Experience with software architecture, API development, and cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and data modeling.
Experience with version control systems, CI/CD processes, and Azure DevOps.
Understanding of software quality standards, security practices, and testing methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and mentor colleagues.
