What is a LPMS?

To answer this question please go to your own laboratory and imagine all the processes. Some of your processes are manual, others semi-automated or maybe fully automated. To control these processes, there are options to use paper, Excel files, Access or even a middleware system. However, paper is bad for the environment, Excel files can become overwhelming, Access can’t communicate with your automation and in most cases a middleware system is expensive and limited.

Laboratory Process Management Software
This is where the Novigene’s Laboratory Process Management Software (LPMS) comes in. You can fully configure the LPMS by yourself, use automated, manual or combined processes and give it your own look and feel.

Novigene’s LPMS is cost-effective and subscription-based, depending on the number of instruments and users. This enables all sizes of laboratories to have access to an advanced system to control their laboratory processes.

The easy to use LPMS is built on experience and inspired by users. It offers the possibility to build your own branded user interface, for example in the form of a customer portal. The LPMS comes with a language module where you can import any preferred language.

Validation
We understand that validation is an essential part of laboratory processes. The LPMS includes a validation procedure for all your configured processes. It is also possible to have your processes validated by an external company or distribute your validated process among other LPMS customers.

Changes in existing processes can be fully managed and validated by yourself with our flexible LPMS, which saves a lot of costs for expensive new connections.

Features and Add-ons
The LPMS comes default with an Electronic Laboratory Notebook (ELN) and instrument service module to collect all information in one place. Next to the standard functions of the LPMS basic we offer add-ons. Examples of add-ons are; qPCR analysis, stock management, ELN connection, etc.
